Troubleshooting
Nothing happens when I click an icon
Dockaroo needs the Accessibility permission to bring windows forward. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility and turn on Dockaroo. If it’s already on, turn it off and on again.
Previews show a cross instead of a picture
Window previews need the optional Screen Recording permission. Turn it on in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Recording, then quit and reopen Dockaroo. Dockaroo only takes still pictures of windows, never audio, and keeps them in memory only.
No bar on my main display
The bar on the main display is on by default. If you turned it off, open Dockaroo’s Settings and turn on “Show bar on main display”.
The bar is in my way
Open Settings and choose auto-hide, hide when covered, or fade until hover. You can also drag the bar to any of 12 positions.
